PRIDE: the movie
Heloo! Today i'm going to write about the movie Pride.
This movie is about the support that gives a group of LGBT activists to miners of the village of Wales in 1984.
First, the group of activists wanted to help the national union of miners but the union didn't want to receive help of a group of gay.
The group of activists being rejected, contacted to a village of Wales who accepted their help.
In my opinion, the film was great because it combines reality, humor and drama, in addition, it has good music. I like because the film represents two oppressed groups that seem to be different, support each other in their fights and in the end understand that they are more similar than they thought.
My favorite character is Joe because he was honest with him and his family deciding their own destiny. Gwen because she was a lovely granny and Gethin; Gethin I like as an actor, he acted in "Sherlock" and "This Beautiful Fantastic"
What I liked the most about the movie was the music, and I don't know what I could say about the movie I did not like.
My favorite scene was when they were all together in a room and they sing "bread and roses"
, that moment I was very excited. In that scene is reflected the union and commitment of a community.
